The steel tiles enable secure magnetic attachment of many standard exam and toilet room fixtures and equipment, significantly expediting the final fit out of the space. ​ ​

Magnetic attachments eliminate the need for blocking within the wall and cause no damage to tile surfaces. Locations can be shifted or moved with virtually no disruption to the space or recovery time required, contributing to a significant reduction of onsite trades and operational cost savings.

A variety of magnetic sizes and strengths are available and custom matched to each corresponding component from lightweight glove dispensers to​ wall-mounted computer stations.

The magnitude of magnetic field interference generated by various magnetic attachments has been measured by the Stanford Modular Products Committee, using Gauss Meter Detectors, for the specific magnets being used in this application, and are considered safe for ambulatory health care environments.
